by Yizuman init's amazing that after one panicked post i made in december that was considered a mistake after getting flamed for it and i retracted my post and apologized for it.

The purpose of a discussion board is to discuss. You choose to post the details of your life, handicap, and financial difficulties. It is extremely naive to think that you are not going to get any negative responses. I've noticed that you are among those who are right up in front when there is a "stoning" (with pointy rocks and a packet of gravel ). You seem to enjoy giving very nasty comments, but take great offense when someone else gives it right back to you.

Shave for a longer life
by ashitaka into live a long life, keep shaving.
to find your approximate date of death, measure your telomeres.
these are the pieces of dna that protect the ends of our chromosomes and control how fast our cells age, and scientists think shortened telomeres cause early death.

Michael Jackson never, ever had a normal childhood. How could he being a pop superstar AND a JW at the same time. It broke my heart when he said that he was at the Motown studios and saw the other children across the street in the park playing baseball, and he couldn't go out and play because he had to go to the studio and WORK.
He didn't have a childhood then, so why doesn't he deserve to live out his childhood now? He's made is money, he's made is mark in the world. More power to him. IMHO, he views children sleeping in the same bed as him as just a sleepover. There's nothing dirty about it. It's just a sleepover. All he wants to do is live out the childhood he was denied when he was a child.

Updated Report by Yizuman
by Yizuman inok, bro-in-law came and picked me up at 9:15 am, drove 45 mins to anderson to what used to be the ss office which is now a medical clinic and had to call the ss office to find their new location and found it next to the national guard armory.
went in, took a number which was 84, the person being served was 81. surprisenly not alot of people in today (maybe it's the weather, it's cold out there today) waiting in line.
being in a ss office like i used to remember when i first applied for ssi at the age of 14 while in center on deafness school was like waiting for a new dl and plates in a bmv office.

I am a full blooded Italian. Actually, I'm Sicilian. To boot, I was born and raised in New Jersey. (Is that good or bad? ). I was transferred out of New Jersey several years ago. However, I still talk with a very heavy New York/New Jersey accent. (Actually, I don't think I have an accent, everybody else does ).
Because of my heratige, I can't tell you how many times people assume that I'm in the Mafia. I am VERY proud of my heritage (I feel everyone should be proud of their heritage). But, it bugs me how many people automatically think that just because a person is of Italian heritage, they automatically are in the Mafia, or have family who are gangsters in the Mafia. A lot of this is because of all the Media hype surrounding such movies and shows like The Godfather, Goodfellas, and The Soprano's. I for one refuse to watch such shows that portray this nonsense. All these shows do is reinforce the stereotype that we are all "gavones" (uncooth louts) who are into the rackets and violence.
Do you feel that most Italians or Italian-Americans have ties to the mob? Honestly? Do you feel that shows like the Soprano's really show "the way the mob works?.

For me, the only songs that I consider JW are the ones from the pink songbook. That songbook only had 119 songs. I was kind of pissed off when they changed songbooks around 1984. Some of the songs in the pink songbook were good, some not so good.
One of my favorites was "Fear Them Not". If I remember correctly, it was written by a brother in a Nazi concentration camp during WW2. Thinking of where that brother wrote the song and what he had to endure while singing those words always sent kind of a shiver up and down my spine. Now, I wonder if that story was true. Funny, I caught myself singing that one in the shower the other morning.
I always liked the Kingdom Melodies tapes (only 1 thru 3 - they were from the old songbook). I always thought the orchestra did a pretty good job. I still have the tapes but haven't listened to them in a long time. Heck, I still have the 10 33 1/3 LP's of the music from that songbook. Side 2 of album P-10 had the Bethel family singing a few songs. Unfortunatly, one of them was From House to House.

PS: Fark, I sent your web page to one of my JW relatives and told him to listen to the Dwelling in Unity song. He was highly offended!!! Thanks for helping me offend him!!!!!
